This programme is suitable for a wide range of NGB Award holders and Managers who hold a duty of care when working within the outdoor industry. This programme is suitable for all outdoor enthusiasts who venture into remote areas. No prior knowledge of first aid is required to join this course.
Course description
16 hour programme delivered over 2 days & is recognised by the HSE. The programme consists of 13 modules in total and includes outdoor elements within the training. Assessment is continuous by the course Tutor/s.
Course outcome
By the end of the course successful candidates will be able to recognise & treat both major & minor injuries in Remote & Urban settings and will be awarded the 'Outdoor Pursuits First Aid Qualification'.
